Reasonable Suspicion Training for Supervisors

The Department of Transportation (DOT) mandates in 49 CFR 382.603 that supervisors of commercial motor vehicles (CMV) who operate vehicles that require a commercial driver license (CDL) participate in a reasonable suspicion training. This includes 60 minutes of training on alcohol misuse and 60 minutes of training on controlled substance abuse.

The purpose of a reasonable suspicion training for supervisors is to identify potential substance abuse in the workplace, confront employees suspected of drug or alcohol abuse and refer employees to appropriate professional assistance if the donor(s) tested positive.

Concorde Online Reasonable Suspicion Training Certificate Program

We have created a reasonable suspicion training program that will give you the tools to meet the requirements set forth by the DOT. 100% online. You won’t even have to leave your home!

Our course aims to prepare you for the very real situations that supervisors face on the job. This two-hour workshop helps supervisors learn how to identify and respond to drug and alcohol related issues. We will not only provide you with pertinent information, but also create interactive Q&A sessions and role-playing situations to build your skills for these real-life scenarios.

Our Founder Stephen Rosenzweig created this interactive course more than 25 years ago, and it continues to be the go-to DOT reasonable suspicion training for supervisors.
